but thats a handful so i shorten it to SRC:RPC alot. thats also confusing though so maybe ill give it a better name sometime
its coded in python, open source, standalone and extremely lightweight.
anyways features features:
everything is MANUAL. it does not need your discord or steam account to be connected or anything like that, it is a standalone application that will simply detect if sonic racing crossworlds is open
once it confirms the game is open, you will see it on your profile as such;
and the gui below will appear as this (very barebones but hey it does what it gotta)
the first thing we will discuss is the game details; this is the smaller font underneath the title of the game. you can adjust the details to anything you want, really but i made it quite basic. no you cannot remove the details, you can put a space if you dont want it
the idle is a dropdown, full of game states such as in grand prixs, online racing, modifying gear, etc. thats all we need to discuss really its quite simple, manually input which one youre in if you even wanna, could just leave it on whatever. it does not detect the game state youre in, you must do this manually
images is the next one; the large image key being the icon for the actual game yknow the big sonic, and the racer dropdown being, well, your selected racer! every single racer announced has been added, playable or not feel free to lie to your friends for fun!
buttons are the last thing (that you can edit atleast) that is admittedly not needed for this. as such, it is automatically hidden by the set height of the gui but left there as an entirely optional version. the Label is what the button will be called, and the URL is what you would like to link to. pretty standard stuff!
final thing is the RPC updating. this displays terminal messages showing when it refreshes automatically aswell as when it has found sonic racing crossworlds is active! so you dont need to check your discord, just the gui!

please note that 80% of this bot is managed through discords dev portal.. it will be incredibly time consuming and hard to recreate though i completely understand if you go along this undertaking. i love open source!
